Here are my few cents on Issue 2 of ‘That Man Solomon: Born Again’. But before I do that a big shout out to Vivek Pramodini Goel and the whole team to have released this issue on the promised date. Small things matter!
HCE has delivered on its promise, and fans are in for a treat with "That Man Solomon: Born Again," Issue 2! This instalment is a significant leap forward from the first, elevating both its storytelling and some great artwork.
From the very first page, you'll feel the adrenaline rush. Solomon, the OG of Goa, is back with a ban and in a new avatar. When he declares, "I'm back, and I'm in charge," he truly means business. Brace yourself for an abundance of brutal, heart-thumping action – this book delivers it in spades. You'll find yourself inexplicably rooting for Solomon, even as he dishes out his brand of justice, beating other bad guys to a pulp.
Writer Sudeep Menon, a self-proclaimed enthusiast of gangster stories, has clearly poured his passion into this character. He's crafted a compelling mini-universe of relatable characters around Solomon, weaving an excellent narrative that will leave you wanting more. But the true superstars of this issue are the illustrators and colorists. Every page and frame is thoughtfully curated, with dynamic color schemes and patterns that perfectly complement the story's mood. Whether it's a rainy outdoor action sequence or a bloodied indoor face-off, the visuals by Sketcher Abinash, Puneet Shukla, Harendra Saini, and Vishal Pandey are simply phenomenal.
And for the ardent fans of Holy Cow Entertainment, there are some exciting cameos in this book that you've been eagerly awaiting – you won't want to miss out on the fun! This feels like just the beginning of something truly special.
